Short bio:

Yves-Marie Laithier has been Professor of law at the Sorbonne Law School (University of Paris 1) since 2015, previously being Professor of law at the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
His PhD is on comparative private law (A comparative study of remedies for breach of contract, published in 2004).
He is the Director of the Master of Comparative Law at the University of Paris 1.
He is a member of the Société de législation comparée and a member of the advisory board of the Association Henri Capitant.
