The perils of Value Alignment

It critiques the ethical foundation of AI governance, observing that moral objectives are being prioritized over legal obligations, leading to conflicts with the rule of law. The essay calls for a re-evaluation of AI governance strategies, urging a realistic approach that respects citizens, legal precedent, and the nuanced realities of social engineering, aiming to provide an account of some of the dangers in governing artificial intelligence—with an emphasis on Justice.
