Piotr Machnikowski
Short bio:
Piotr Machnikowski is a professor at the University of Wrocław (Poland). He has authored a few books and numerous papers on Polish and European civil law. Piotr participated in international research projects such as Acquis Group and European Group on Tort Law. He is a member of the International Academy of Comparative Law, European Law Institute and European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law. In years 2013-2015 he was a member of the Civil Law Codification Commission of the Republic of Poland.
